ALECSO Executive Council holds its 90th session

Tunis, June 23, SPA -- The work-session of the Executive Council of
the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization
(ALECSO) started here today with participation of the member
countries including The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Kingdom is represented by Dr. Naif Hashal AL Roumi, The
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Education
Development.

The 3-day session will discuss a number of core topics including the
Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and the dangers posed to its heritage,
educational and scientific situation in Palestine in addition to a
Plan of Action to commemorate the Day of the Arabic language and an
Arab Draft Strategy to mitigate losses from natural disasters.
