AZERTAC’s photo correspondent wins five gold medals at international competitions

AZERTAC’s photo correspondent Ilgar Jafarov has won five gold medals at international photo contests held in different countries.

BARDAF photo contest held in Slovakia saw participation of 121 contesters from 44 countries who submitted 1522 photos.

Jafarov’s photos "Emotions of a weightlifter" and "Water Polo, Tribune of Journalists" taken during the 2016 Paralympics in September in Brazil earned him the gold medals in this contest.

Another work of the author called “Before starting” captured the gold medal, with other two photos receiving an honorary ribbon of FIAP at the MANAS 2023 photo contest held in Kyrgyzstan that brought together 224 contesters from various countries.

Jafarov was awarded the FIAP gold medal for his photo “Emotions of a weightlifter”, as well as the IAAP Diploma for his photo “Backstroke” at the Phoenix photo contest held in Albania.

Another photo “Before starting” by the correspondent earned him the FIAP gold medal, while his photo “Emotions of a weightlifter” received the award of the chairman of the jury at the “TRINCO Photo Awards 2023 Sri Lanka”.
