World Arabian Horse Championship 2023 Wraps Up

 
Doha, December 09 (QNA) - The World Arabian Horse Championship 2023, which was held at the Old Doha Port and ran for three consecutive days, concluded on Saturday evening. The championship saw the participation of 150 horses from 21 countries. President of the Qatar Equestrian Federation and Modern Pentathlon (QEFMP), championship director Badr Al Darwish handed the championship banner over to Jean-Luc Poulain, president of the National Center for Agricultural Exhibitions and Competitions (Ceneca), which will host the championship in Paris in 2024, before it returns to Qatar once again in 2025. The President of the Qatar Equestrian Federation and Modern Pentathlon said in a statement today that the championship's last day was outstanding in all aspects, be it in terms of turnout, organization, or heated competitions, considering this a reflection of the championship's great success, stressing that the organizing committee did all it takes in order to present a distinctive edition. For his part, HE Secretary General of QEFMP Sheikh Ahmad bin Nooh Al-Thani stressed the championship's success, with the participation of the world's top-notch horses, adding that Qatar always excels in organizing tournaments and in providing the best organizational, technical, media, and public services, with Qatar being one of the earliest countries in the Arab region to organize international horse beauty championships.
