Omani Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs Stresses Oman's Support for GCC March

Doha, December 05 (QNA) - HH Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs of the sisterly Sultanate of Oman Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said underlined the Sultanate of Oman's continuous support for the march of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and its deep appreciation for the benevolent efforts of the State of Qatar towards establishing security and peace.
    In a statement upon his arrival in Doha on Tuesday to head the Sultanate's delegation, on behalf of HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, to the 44th Summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Supreme Council, HH Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said emphasized that the Sultanate of Oman, in its capacity as chair of the current GCC session, expresses its deep appreciation for the Council's achievements in various fields, thanks to the directives of the GCC leaders and the cooperation of Member States. This has had a significant impact on enhancing cooperation and integration among the Gulf peoples who are united by common history and destiny, HH added.
    HH the Omani Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs said that the regional scene has recently witnessed numerous rapid developments that have cast shadows on many countries, which necessitates more efforts to coordinate stances and unify visions in facing all challenges, ensuring that the people of the region can continue their march in an atmosphere of peace and stability.
