Minister of Culture Inaugurates "Contemporary Art in Service of Identity and Heritage" Exhibition at Al Jasra Club

Doha, November 28 (QNA) - HE Minister of Culture Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Thani inaugurated on Tuesday evening the second art exhibition titled "Contemporary Art in Service of Identity and Heritage" at the Al Jasra Cultural and Social Club. The exhibition will run until mid-December and features the participation of several Qatari and resident artists.
    Khaled Al Obaidan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al Jasra Cultural and Social Club, stated that this exhibition is part of the club's comprehensive mission, which encompasses all forms of knowledge, including literature, culture, and arts. He noted that visual art is one of the most important and sophisticated forms of art, contributing significantly to expanding thinking horizons and forming a beautiful perspective on things.
    He also mentioned that the exhibition will be accompanied by various events and will be open to the surrounding community, with invitations extended to relevant entities, including schools and others. He affirmed that the participating artists have a special imprint in the local and international art scene. (QNA)
