ICESCO Inaugurates Regional Educational Center in Chad Supported by QC

Rabat, November 28 (QNA) - The Islamic World Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) inaugurated the new headquarters of the ICESCO Regional Educational Center in the Chadian capital, N’Djamena, with the support of Qatar Charity (QC).
ICESCO Director-General Dr. Salem bin Mohammed Al Malik and Minister of National Education and Civic Promotion of Chad Musa Khaddam attended the inauguration ceremony, along with a lineup of senior Chadian officials and personalities.
In a statement, ICESCO said that it seeks to expand the number of regional centers for the teaching of the Arabic language to non-native speakers in both member and non-member states, as part of its keenness to provide direct programs and activities for the benefit of the Islamic world's communities, thanking the Republic of Chad for its great interest in developing the teaching of Arabic.
The new Regional Educational Center headquarters will strengthen Arabic-French bilingualism, and serve as an enrichment to the educational sector in the country thanks to its modern facilities equipped with the latest technology. (QNA)
