PM Discusses With The Iranian Police Chief Cooperation In Controlling The Borders And Combating The Drug Trade

Baghdad / NINA / -The Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, received today, Monday, the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Police, Ahmed Reza Radan, and his accompanying delegation.

 

During the meeting, various aspects of cooperation between Iraq and Iran were discussed, with regard to maintaining internal security, prosecuting organized crime, and emphasizing bilateral security coordination in border control files and combating drug trade, which represents a common challenge for the two countries.

 

During the meeting, Al-Sudani stressed the importance of cooperation between the police services in the two countries, to enforce the law, and extend security and stability, in a way that enhances the development of partnership, trade exchange, and integration in various economic files./End
