Badminton: KL Masters 2023 To Be Held From Oct 31 Until Nov 5

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 24 (Bernama) -- The Kuala Lumpur Badminton Association (KLBA) will be organising BERGAMOT KL Masters Super 100 2023 scheduled from Oct 31 until Nov 5 at Titiwangsa Stadium, here.

According to a statement today, KL Masters Super 100 will play an important role in the qualification for both the year-end Badminton World Federation (BWF) World Tour Finals and the race to the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

The spotlight of the tournament will be on national champions such as men’s singles Leong Jun Hao and women’s singles K. Letshanaa, alongside emerging talents in women's doubles, Amanda Yap-Ho Lo Ee.

“International stars including South Korea's Jeon Hyeok Jin, India's Sai Praneeth, Myanmar's Thet Htar Thuzar, and Thailand's recently crowned World Junior champion, Pitchamon Opatniput will add to the excitement,” said the statement.

The newly added KL Master Super 100 in the BWF World Tour Super 100 offers a US$100,000 (RM477,900) prize pool.

In the meantime, for added fun fans can also enjoy the 'Malaysia Food Festival 2023' which begins from the quarter-final stage on Nov 3.
