AZERTAC`s photo correspondent wins gold medals at international competitions

AZERTAC`s photo correspondent Ilgar Jafarov has won a gold medal of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) at the “PHOTOPANORAMA 2023" international photo contest held in Serbia.

The competition held under the auspices of the FIAP featured 2649 photos by 158 contesters from 52 countries.

Ilgar Jafarov`s photo called "Night Tragedy" was awarded the FIAP gold medal in the “Photojournalism” nomination.

This photo depicts the crime committed by the Armenian army during the Second Karabakh War in 2020 by firing rockets at the city of Ganja.

The Azerbaijani photo correspondent also claimed two gold medals (National Gold Medal) and a diploma at "BANJA LUKA 2023" international photo contest held in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
