Freezing Iran's assets in Britain violation of int'l conventions: MP
A parliamentarian said here on Sunday that freezing Iran’s assets in Britain is interfering in Iran’s domestic affairs.
Talking to IRNA, Chairman of the Economic Commission of the Iranian Majlis Arsalan Fat'hipour added, “Freezing 1.6 billion dollars of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s assets by the British government is a blunt violation of international conventions and clear manifestation of interference in the country’s domestic affairs.”
Condemning the recent mischievous acts by certain European states including Britain, the MP said such moves would result in lack of confidence of the world independent and freedom-seeking nations towards London.
Reiterating that “the main loser of the game will be the British government”, he stressed that the Iranian nation, through its firm determination, would defuse conspiracies of the Global Arrogance.
