Iran sets up production line of medicine for ischemic stroke

Acording to a Tuesday report by the IRNA, the head of the National Elite Foundation Ruhollah Dehghani was present at the launch ceremony at Arina Hayat Danesh Co in Tehran on Monday.

The production line of Altelyse, suitable for treating ischemic stroke, was launched in Iran while the medicine is the only related one confirmed by Food and Drug Administration of the United States, the official noted.

Altelyse appropriate for patients suffering from acute ischemic stroke was imported to Iran before the launch of its production line inside the country.

Through producing this strategic medicine, Iran will provide compensation for forex by $10 million per day, create job opportunities and increase income via exporting it to the neighboring countries and to the European market.
