Saudi Minister of Culture and Information Meets Egyptian Minister of Culture

Cairo, June 18, SPA--The Minister of Culture and Information Dr.
Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khojah met here today with Egyptian Minister
of Culture Farouk Hosni.
During the meeting, they exchanged cordial talks and discussed
bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Egypt and ways of
promoting cooperation in the cultural field.
The Egyptian Minister welcomed Dr. Khojah, describing him as a
minister with a deep vision.
The Egyptian minister said that the new perspective proposed by
Dr. Khojah will be a leap in the Arab world, adding that his country
will place all its capabilities for the success of this vision.
He noted that Saudi Arabia is a large country having religious,
historical and intellectual characteristics.
The Egyptian minister expressed his thanks to and appreciation of
Saudi Arabia for the great support for him as an Egyptian and Arab
candidate for the elections of the post of Director General of United
Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
