Karzai: Iran regional model for fights against drug trafficking

– Afghan President Hamed Karzai said that Iran is a regional model for fighting drug smuggling and Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s (SCO) member states can use its experience in the field.

According to a report posted on the website of Drugs Control Headquarters , Karzai added while addressing meeting of SCO member states in Yekaterinburg that they can promote anti-drug measures by making use of Iran’s experience.

Referring to Iran’s crucial role in fighting drug smuggling, Karzai described Iran as a suitable model in the field.
