Kyrgyz FM to take part in meeting of CSTO Ministerial Council in Minsk

BishkekJune 19, 2023. / Kabar/. On June 20, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev will take part in the regular meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in Minsk.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic said that during the meeting, the heads of the foreign ministries plan to exchange views on the state of the international and regional situation and its impact on the security of the CSTO member states, as well as further steps to develop the Organization's cooperation with international organizations and third countries.

The course of preparations for the session of the CSTO Collective Security Council, scheduled to be held in the fourth quarter of this year, will also be considered. in the Republic of Belarus.

Member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, a military alliance in Eurasia, made up of six post-Soviet states: Armenia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.
