BishkekJune 16, 2023. / Kabar /. A workshop for meat processing and production of meat products has been opened at Naryn State University, the press service of the educational institution reported.

University of Central Asia (Aga Khan Foundation) provided support in the opening of the workshop by providing 2 million 293.4 thousand soms, and the AgroDev project of the Erasmus Plus program - 1 million 350 thousand soms.

Naryn State University used 4 million 194,266 thousand soms from its special funds for high-quality equipment and devices.

Minister of Education and Science Kanybek Imanaliev noted at the event that the opening of this workshop is symbolic and added that the Naryn region is known for high quality meat products.

“I am sure that this workshop will allow for practical training in production. They will study sanitary standards, carry out the procedure for labeling goods themselves, and get the first experience in the production of meat products. Further, classes will be held in the workshop on meat processing and determining its quality. It is planned to provide the population with products that will become a local brand and export them to neighboring countries,” Imanaliev said.

He also expressed gratitude to the partners for their support and added that as a result of fruitful cooperation, a promising start-up project was opened.
