Heads of Batken and Sughd regions meet on Kyrgyz-Tajik border

Bishkek, June 15, 2023. / Kabar /. On the Kyrgyz-Tajik border, a meeting was held between head of the Batken region of Kyrgyzstan, Abdikarim Alimbaev, and head of the Sughd region of Tajikistan, Radzhobboy Ahmadzoda.

According to the Batken regional state administration, the meeting discussed the situation on the border over the past month.

The purpose of holding bilateral meetings, first of all, is to maintain peace and stability in the border areas.

The meeting was also attended by the heads of the Border Services of the two countries Ularbek Sharsheev and Rajabali Rahmonali, akims of border regions and representatives of law enforcement agencies of the two countries.
