The Iranian Minister of Interior: We Agreed With Iraq To Issue Special Passports For The Arbaeen Visit

Baghdad / NINA / - Iranian Interior Minister Ahmed Vahidi announced consultations and agreement with the Iraqi side to issue special passports and cancel visas during the Arbaeen visit of Imam Hussein (PBUH) this year.
He said in a statement to reporters, during his visit to the Mahran border crossing on Monday evening: One of the most important requirements of the Mahran border crossing is to increase the number of exit gates due to the large number of visitors to the Arbaeen visit.
He indicated, according to IRNA, that the purpose of his visit to the Mahran border crossing is to inspect the requirements of Ilam province on the Mahran border, adding that it was agreed with the Iraqi side to increase the exit gates on the Iraqi side of the border.
He said: "The traffic on the Iranian side of the border takes place without any obstacles, but to facilitate the movement of visitors, more gates should be opened on the Iraqi side."/ End
