State debt of Kyrgyzstan reaches USD 5.2 bln

Bishkek, Nov. 14, 2022. /Kabar/. As of September 30, 2022, the amount of public debt (external + internal) of Kyrgyzstan amounted to USD 5 billion 217.88 million or KGS 418 billion 384.37 million, the Ministry of Finance reported. According to data, of these: - 79.8% is the state external debt: USD 4 billion 162.60 million (KGS 333 billion 769.18 million); - 20.2% is the state internal debt: USD 1 billion 55.28 million (KGS 84 billion 615.19 million). In January-October 2022, funds in the amount of KGS 28 billion 854.4 million were actually allocated from the republican budget of the Kyrgyz Republic to service the public debt (external + internal) of the Kyrgyz Republic, of which: - on the state external debt - KGS 19 billion 511.1 million; - for the state internal debt - KGS 9 billion 343.3 million. In January-October 2022, the republican budget of the Kyrgyz Republic actually received funds in the amount of KGS 12,398.7 million from the issue of government securities (STB and ST-Bills).
