DR Al-Qirbi hails GCC Leaders support to Yemen

Riyadh, June 08, SPA -- Yemeni Foreign Minister Dr Abu Bakr Al-Qirbi
has expressed appreciation to the GCC leaders for the support they
have been extending to his country.

The remarks of Dr Al-Qirbi came at the fourth joint meeting for the
GCC and Yemeni foreign ministers, held today in Riyadh.

The Saudi delegation to the joint meeting was led by Prince Saud
al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister.

He noted that the Yemeni government has pardoned the persons which
tried to harm Yemen’s unity and stability.

He said the Yemeni government has urged these persons to practice
their political rights within the framework of the Yemeni
constitution.

The Yemeni government is confident that the GCC member states are
aware of the adverse impact of the secession calls, violence and
hatred among the sons of one nation will not be confined to Yemen
only notably in the light of the plots that aim at creation of
sectarian and ideological crises in a manner that enables the terror
elements to exploit them to realize their goals.
