Sadyr Zhaparov leaves for Uzbekistan to participate in OTS Summit

Bishkek, Nov. 10, 2022. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov left for Samarkand (Uzbekistan) to participate in the ninth meeting of the Summit of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). The leaders of the countries will discuss topical issues of multilateral cooperation within the Organization, adopt the Declaration and Strategy of the OTS for 2022-2026. As part of the event, it is planned to sign agreements and documents in the field of transport, customs, digitalization, as well as appointment to a number of positions in the OTS and the International Turkic Academy. The official Kyrgyz delegation: - Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev; - Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Muratbek Azymbakiev; - Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan Musa Jamanbaev; –Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliev; - Minister of Transport and Communications Tilek Tekebaev; - Minister of Economy and Commerce Daniyar Amangeldiyev; - Chairman of the State Customs Service under the Ministry of Finance Samat Isabekov. The heads of the member states of the Organization - the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Turkey, will take part in the work of the Summit under the chairmanship of the Uzbek side, and the Prime Minister of Hungary and the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan - in the status of observers.
