Foreign trade turnover of Kyrgyzstan for 9 months amounted to almost USD 5.2 bln

For 9 months of 2022, the foreign trade turnover of Kyrgyzstan (with third countries), according to customs statistics, has developed in terms of value 5 billion 189.3 million dollars and in terms of weight 3 million 471.6 thousand tons, Chairman of the State Customs Service (SCS) of the Kyrgyz Republic Samat Isabekov told at Kabar Agency. According to him, the total volume of exports of goods from Kyrgyzstan (to third countries) for 9 months of 2022 amounted to USD 500.2 million, compared to the same period last year, the volume decreased by 80.5% or USD 121.4 million. In weight terms, the volume of exports amounted to 1 million 936 thousand tons, which is 5.9% (108.1 thousand tons) more than in 9 months of 2021. At the same time, the total volume of imports of goods to Kyrgyzstan for 9 months amounted to USD 4 billion 689.1 million, an increase of USD 2 billion 615.0 million (226.1%). In weight terms, imports amounted to 1 million 535.6 thousand tons, compared to 9 months of 2021, increased by 470.4 thousand tons or 44.2%.
