Akylbek Zhaparov takes part in meeting of Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in narrow format in Yerevan

Bishkek, Oct. 21, 2022. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov took part in a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in a narrow format in Yerevan (Armenia). The head of the Cabinet noted that this year the Kyrgyz Republic chairs the bodies of the EAEU. “I am glad to welcome you at the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in the hospitable city of Yerevan. Our meeting is taking place in a complex geopolitical and geo-economic environment. In this difficult period, our Union, I believe, must demonstrate its main purpose - improving the quality of life of citizens by removing barriers and simplifying procedures in mutual trade. We have everything necessary for this, and the main thing is the political will of the heads of our states. It remains for us to do everything in our power for a genuine mutually beneficial economic partnership. We are all committed to one common goal - to strengthen our Union through the promotion of the four main postulates of our integration association for the benefit of the prosperity of our states and peoples,” Akylbek Zhaparov said. He noted that the agenda of the meeting is meaningful and includes the most important and relevant issues for the Eurasian Economic Union.
