Kyrgyzstan and France agreed on joint activities within framework of cooperation

On October 12, during the meeting of Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to France Sadyk Sher-Niyaz with Senator, Chairman of the France-Central Asia Friendship Group in the French Senate, Mr. Herve Morey, the parties noted with satisfaction the intensification of Kyrgyz-French relations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported. Sher-Niyaz informed about important political transformations in Kyrgyzstan, drawing attention to the adoption of a new Constitution, the introduction of a new form of government, as well as a new electoral system. “At the same time, taking into account the significant role of inter-parliamentary cooperation in the development of bilateral cooperation, the parties confirmed their intention to exchange visits between the parliamentarians of the two countries in 2023. An agreement was also reached on organizing study tours of representatives of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic to the French Senate, as well as on holding joint events in honor of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the French Republic,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic said.
