Kyrgyzstan and Austria to cooperate on green economy projects

Austrian business circles will help Kyrgyzstan implement projects on renewable energy, tourism, IT and agriculture, the press service of the National Investment Agency said. A meeting of the Kyrgyz-Austrian commission on economic relations was held in Bishkek on September 29. At the meeting, the sides noted the need to intensify cooperation between the two states, in particular in the field of hydropower, renewable energy sources, given the extensive experience of Austria. “The guests were presented with a presentation on the investment climate in Kyrgyzstan, urging representatives of the Austrian business to invest and mutually beneficial cooperation,” the agency added. As a result of the meeting, the minutes of the meeting were signed, with the designation of further guidelines for cooperation.
