Xi Jinping: China supports Kyrgyzstan in its reform endeavors

China supports Kyrgyzstan in its reform efforts, Chairman of the People's Republic of China (PRC) Xi Jinping told during a meeting with President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov in Samarkand (Uzbekistan) within the framework of the SCO Summit. Xi Jinping noted that Kyrgyzstan, within the framework of the “Community of Common Destiny of Kyrgyzstan and China”, is one of the most friendly neighbors and close partners of China. “Your republic will take a more important place in the foreign policy of the PRC. We are ready to strengthen mutual support and strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation,” he added. The Chinese leader named the priority tasks facing the two states within the framework of bilateral cooperation.
