Germany interested in direct supplies of agricultural products from Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Sept. 9, 2022. / Kabar /. Germany is interested in direct deliveries of agricultural products from Kyrgyzstan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Germany Omurbek Tekebaev met with Director of the German Agribusiness Alliance Dr. Peer Brodersen and Country Manager for Central Asia Dirk Stratman. During the meeting, Tekebaev informed about the potential of Kyrgyzstan's export products to Germany and the countries of the European Union. “At the same time, the ambassador noted that along with the export of Kyrgyz products, it is important to establish Kyrgyz-German joint ventures for processing agricultural products in Kyrgyzstan,” the Foreign Ministry said. Broderzen stressed that Germany and the EU countries are interested in active cooperation with Kyrgyzstan in the agricultural field. In particular, in the supply of agricultural products directly to Germany, and not through third countries. As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on establishing and expanding contacts with manufacturers and companies from Kyrgyzstan and Germany.
