Youth ice hockey team of Kyrgyzstan takes third place at President's Cup

Alga hockey club took the 3rd place in the Cup of the President of Kyrgyzstan in ice hockey among children and youth teams, Vice President of the Ice Hockey Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic Aselya Abdygulova told at a press conference at the Kabar Agency. She said that the domestic team became the winner in the U-12 age category. “The first place in this category was taken by a team from America, the second - by Romania,” she said. In addition, the vice president indicated that in total 20 teams from 8 countries were represented in the tournament: the USA, Romania, Turkey, Estonia, Latvia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. “In total, 57 matches were played during the tournament, 564 goals were scored,” Abdygulova summed up. In the U-10 category, teams from Kazakhstan and Estonia took prizes, U-14 - Tashkent, Turkey and Kazakhstan.
