President Sadyr Zhaparov receives Director of Saudi Development Fund Sultan Al-Marshad

Bishkek, Sept. 2, 2022 / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov received Director of the Saudi Development Fund (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) Sultan Al-Marshad, the press service of the head of state reported. An exchange of views took place on current joint projects and prospects for bilateral cooperation. The head of state noted that Kyrgyzstan attaches great importance to the development and expansion of all areas of cooperation with Saudi Arabia, and the Saudi Development Fund is considered a strategic financial partner of the country. Sadyr Zhaparov expressed gratitude to the Saudi Development Fund for supporting the economic development of Kyrgyzstan through the implementation of a number of projects in the areas of education, agriculture, healthcare, transport and infrastructure. He thanked the head of the Fund for the decision to allocate funds to finance the activities of the State Mortgage Company, which will allow the construction of houses in all regions of the country to provide citizens with affordable housing and reduce internal migration. The president expressed readiness to continue fruitful cooperation with the Saudi Development Fund. In turn, Sultan Al-Marshad expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and conveyed greetings to the head of state from the King of Saudi Arabia Salman ibn Abdul-Aziz Al Saud. He said that today, as part of the implementation of joint projects, he took part in the opening of a school in the capital, and today it is planned to lay a capsule for the construction of a new building for the children's emergency hospital in Bishkek. As Sultan Al-Marshad noted, the Fund has implemented a number of social and infrastructure projects in Kyrgyzstan in recent years. Emphasizing readiness to continue fruitful cooperation with the Cabinet of Ministers of the country, he said that all proposals of the Kyrgyz side on joint projects would be considered by all means. Sadyr Zhaparov, also thanking the King of Saudi Arabia for the congratulations on Independence Day, which were previously sent to him, conveyed his best wishes to him.
