First Kyrgyz-French business forum to be held in Paris

Bishkek, Aug. 18, 2022 / Kabar /. Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan held talks with head of the French company Finantrep Aspir, President of the Kyrgyz-French Business Association Noël Casabianca. The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the negotiations were held in the format of a videoconference with the assistance of the Kyrgyz Embassy in France. During the negotiations, plans were discussed for joint work on the preparation and organization of the first Kyrgyz-French business forum in Paris in 2022, the purpose of which will be to intensify and expand trade, economic, investment and tourism cooperation between the two countries. In particular, the sides discussed issues of a substantive, organizational and technical nature, and also identified promising areas of cooperation. Special attention was paid to the organization of study visits by Kyrgyz businessmen to enterprises of the French Republic, the report said. In conclusion, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to France, Sadyk Sher-Niyaz, noted that the results of the successful holding of this event would be the establishment of new contacts, the activation and development of bilateral ties between the business communities of the two countries. Following the meeting, the sides agreed to sign relevant policy documents in order to further expand partnerships.
