Foreign trade turnover of Kyrgyzstan for six months amounts to USD 5 bln

Bishkek, Aug. 11, 2022. /Kabar/. The volume of foreign and mutual trade in goods of Kyrgyzstan in January-June 2022 amounted to USD 5 billion. According to data of the National Statistical Committee, compared to January-June 2021, it increased by 25.4%, while export supplies decreased by 40.5%, while import receipts, on the contrary, increased by 1.7 times. The volume of mutual trade of the Kyrgyz Republic with the EAEU member states in January-June 2022 amounted to USD 2.0 billion and increased by 34.0% compared to January-June 2021. At the same time, export deliveries increased 1.7 times, import receipts - by 23.0%. The largest share of the republic's mutual trade with the EAEU member states in January-June of the current year fell on Russia (70.0%) and Kazakhstan (27.9%).
