Kyrgyz ambassador discusses bilateral co-op with Azerbaijani culture minister

Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan in Azerbaijan Kairat Osmonaliev held a meeting with Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan Anar Karimov, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan said. During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects for bilateral cooperation in the field of culture, as well as discussed the possibility of implementing joint projects. “In particular, the sides discussed issues related to holding a series of events dedicated to the upcoming 95th anniversary of famous Kyrgyz writer Chyngyz Aitmatov and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries, as well as the organization of Days of Culture in both countries," the report said. In conclusion, the Kyrgyz ambassador informed the minister of activities planned to hold in honor of the 35th anniversary of the operetta Arshin Mal Alan (The Cloth Peddler) by Uzeyir Hajibeyli at the Kyrgyz Opera and Ballet Theater.
