President Saleh receives phone call from Abu Mazzen
SANA'A, June 01 (Saba) - President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Monday a phone call from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas (Abu- Mazzen).
In the call, Abu-Mazzen briefed Saleh on the outcomes his visit to Washington and
his talks with the US' President Barack Obama and the American officials, which
dealt with the US vision about the Palestinian case.
The two leaders also talked about Obama's imminent visit to Saudi Arabia, Egypt and
Middle East to push the peace process in the region.
President Saleh re-affirmed Yemeni attitude to stand by Palestinian people to get
its rights and establish its independent state, stressing the importance of the
unity of Palestinian ranks.
