Kyrgyzstan produced KGS 92.2 bln gross agricultural output in H1 of 2022

In six months of 2022, Kyrgyzstan produced gross agricultural production for KGS 92.2 billion, Minister of Agriculture of the country Askarbek Dzhanybekov told a press conference in Bishkek on Tuesday. He noted that the growth rate was 102%, which is 1% more than in the first half of 2021. "The crop production sector produced products worth KGS 17.7 billion, which is KGS 3.1 billion more compared to the same period of 2021. Thus, the growth rate was 100.9%, that is, it is 0.2% more compared to the same period last year,” the minister said. In the livestock sector, in the first half of 2022 there was production for KGS 72.1 billion, which is 1% more compared to the same period last year. "Thus, in the first half of 2022, the macroeconomic situation in the sector of agricultural economy remained stable," Dzhanybekov concluded.
