Migrants transferred over USD 1 bln since beginning of 2022: Cabinet chairman

Bishkek, July 14, 2022. /Kabar/. Migrants transferred to the country more than USD 1 billion in 6 months of 2022, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov said at a meeting with participation of President Sadyr Zhaparov. According to him, this figure is 4.5% higher than last year. "I think it is right to take this opportunity to thank all our citizens who are abroad," said Cabinet Head Zhaparov. He also added that the inflow of foreign investments increased and amounted to $278 million, while the outflow of investments decreased by 41% compared to last year.
