Kyrgyz Parliament speaker takes part in VII International Youth Forum in Issyk-Kul

Bishkek, July 4, 2022. / Kabar /. Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Talant Mamytov took part in the VII International Cultural and Educational Youth Forum “Children of the Commonwealth” of the CIS countries (Commonwealth of Independent States).
According to the press service of the Jogorku Kenesh, from June 26 to July 5, 2022, the VII International Youth Forum "Children of the Commonwealth" is being held in Issyk-Kul. The event is traditionally organized by the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly and the Zhogorku Kenesh.
Talant Mamytov, on behalf of the Kyrgyz Parliament and on his own behalf, congratulated the participants on the successful completion of the international forum aimed at supporting future cultural and educational figures.
“Forum “Children of the Commonwealth”, which is traditionally held on the shores of Issyk-Kul, is not only a platform for dialogue, but also lays the foundation for future cooperation. The hospitable Kyrgyz people, the picturesque nature of Kyrgyzstan and our pearl - Issyk-Kul Lake are always glad to new guests. We look forward to your return. Let the annual meetings on the coast become a good tradition, contributing to the establishment of centuries-old ties of friendship and good neighborliness,” he said.
The speaker stressed that the main goal of the forum is to create an international platform for raising children and youth in the spirit of good neighborliness and cooperation within the framework of educational programs and cultural and entertainment events.
“In particular, one of our priorities is to call for joint work of future generations of states united by close historical ties. It is the duty of every citizen of the Commonwealth countries to continue the great path of friendship and unity. We need to increase cooperation in all areas through the exchange of views. So we can ensure the prosperity of our states! I believe that we will achieve our goals,” he stressed.
At the end of his speech, Talant Mamytov wished the forum participants good health, happiness, longevity and a bright future.
The International Cultural and Educational Forum "Children of the Commonwealth" was initiated by the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, which was supported by the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly. The first forum was held in 2013 in the Kyrgyz city of Cholpon-Ata. In 2021, the forum was held in St. Petersburg (Russia). In total, during the existence of the forum, more than 600 schoolchildren from nine CIS member states took part in it.
