Bishkek, July 1, 2022 . /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan offered Pakistani businessmen to enter local market, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported Friday. Thus, as part of a working visit to Gujranwala, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan Ulanbek Totuyaev visited the Chamber of Commerce in Gujranwala, where he met with its President Muhammad Shuaib Butt, as well as honorary members. "In his speech, Ambassador Totuyaev stressed that the Kyrgyz side attaches great importance to the development of relations with each of regions of Pakistan, given the extensive prospects for cooperation. He also called on the representatives of Pakistani business to consider the possibility of expanding its activities with access to the market of the Kyrgyz Republic and subsequently to the markets of the Eurasian Economic Union member states, as well as investing in promising projects in Kyrgyzstan,” the report said. The sides also discussed issues of cooperation development in the spheres of trade, investments, energy, mining, information technologies, transport communications and construction. As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize a visit of representatives of business circles of Gujranwala to Kyrgyzstan this year to explore the prospects for further mutually beneficial cooperation.
