Iran pursuing active, justice-seeking diplomacy, Mottaki

Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said Saturday evening that Iran was pursuing an active and justice-seeking diplomacy on equal footing with foreign countries.

Addressing a group of people at a mosque in southern Tehran, Mottaki said Iran’s diplomacy was based on major guidelines set by the Father of the Islamic Revolution the late Imam Khomeini which included preserving independence.

Elaborating on performance of the Foreign Ministry, Mottaki said that Iran has currently found an equal status with other countries, big powers in particular, in international equations.
