Ambassador Dzhusupov meets with UK under secretary of state for foreign affairs

Kyrgyz Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Ulan Djusupov, met with Lord Tarik Ahmad, Minister of State for South and Central Asia, Commonwealth and the United Nations, UK Deputy Foreign Secretary Lord Tariq Ahmad. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the UK Ulan Dzhusupov met on Monday with Minister of State for South and Central Asia, Commonwealth and UN Affairs, UK Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Lord Tariq Ahmad. The sides noted the importance of a significant event on the bilateral agenda - the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the United Kingdom, which over the years have achieved tangible results in various areas of mutual cooperation, strengthened trust and mutual understanding. Particular attention was paid to the prospects of cooperation in the field of green economy, renewable energy, climate change, education, digital and creative economy, and the schedule of mutual contacts and events was discussed. Ambassador Ulan Dzhusupov highly appreciated the level of Kyrgyz-British relations and expressed the interest of the Kyrgyz side to continue comprehensive cooperation with Great Britain. The parties agreed to further strengthen bilateral cooperation, intensify mutual contacts and ties, bring relations to a new quality level with an emphasis on intensifying trade and economic cooperation.
