Kyrgyz president holds meeting on socio-economic development of regions

Bishkek, June 23, 2022. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov held a working meeting with the participation of Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov, members of the Cabinet, heads of structural divisions of the presidential administration, governors. Issues of the socio-economic development of the regions, the implementation of decisions and the execution of instructions from the president and the cabinet of ministers in the field were considered, the press service of the head of state reported. Also the meeting participants discussed the tasks facing the regions and plans for the near future, the urgent solution of problematic issues on the ground. Sadyr Zhaparov drew attention to the issues of further development of the tourism sector in the field and close cooperation between the regions and the Tourism Development Support Fund, the authorized capital of which has been increased to 1 billion soms. The president, noting the inadmissibility of the irresponsible work of local governments, instructed to strengthen control over the implementation of decisions of the central government.
