Tander snares third-straight Tas V8 pole

Holden has broken through for its first race win of the V8 Supercar season.
Garth Tander took Saturday's opening race at Symmons Plains from the Commodore of
veteran Russell Ingall and Steven Johnson in a Falcon.
Ford had dominated the series, winning all six races before the Tasmanian round
where Tander blasted away from pole position to win.
A former two-times victor at the short track, Tander beat Ingall in a sprint to the
flag by just one tenth of a second.
Series leader Jamie Whincup managed just eighth place in the 34-lap race.
Another race will be held on Sunday.
