President condemns terrorist operation in Zahedan
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Saturday condemned the recent terrorist attack in the city of Zahedan stressing the need for punishment of those involved in the blast.
In a condolence message, the Iranian President said, “The Sunni and Shiite brothers will undoubtedly recognize and neutralize conspiracies through their vigilance.”
He urged the officials to identify and punish those involved in the Zahedan’s mosque attack.
The President reiterated that the Shiite and Sunni people of the province would not let foreigners be successful in sowing discord among them.
He expressed his condolences to the provincial people, particularly the bereaved families of the victims of the terrorist operation.
According to the latest reports, the bombing of the mosque in the city of Zahedan in southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan Thursday evening killed more than 20 and injured tens of others.
