Kyrgyzstan launches country's first production of thermal socks

Bishkek, June 17, 2022. /Kabar/. Socks Master started producing thermal and sports socks. USAID Enterprise Competitiveness Project partnered, helping to purchase modern equipment for production, the company wrote on its Facebook page. Socks Master already produces socks @luckysocks.kg, known for its creative design. Now the company will produce thermal socks and socks for various sports, including soccer, tennis, boxing, wrestling and running. The products will be cheaper than imported ones. "We want to move away from import dependence. We also want to show Kyrgyz people that we can meet world standards, produce a quality product and compete," says Kunduz Asanalieva, founder of Lucky Socks. Only high-quality raw materials and premium cotton are used in production. The company plans to supply socks to specialized sports stores. It already employs 40 people in production. In the near future, the company plans to hire 15 more people.
