Turkish President Erdogan to visit Kyrgyzstan

The delegation of the Kyrgyz Parliament discussed the upcoming visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Kyrgyzstan during the meeting with Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Mustafa Sentop. At the invitation of the Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Akif Çağatay Kılıç, a delegation of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh paid a working visit to Turkey on May 31 - June 1, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported. During the meeting Mustafa Sentop emphasized the historical and cultural commonality and the strategic level of cooperation between the two countries. Speaker Sentop noted that the upcoming official visit of President Erdogan to Kyrgyzstan and the holding of the 6th meeting of the Supreme Council for Strategic Cooperation will give impetus to the development of bilateral relations. Along with the exchange of views on the development of both bilateral cooperation, especially in the trade and economic sphere, and partnership on multilateral platforms in terms of deepening inter-parliamentary cooperation, the sidesdiscussed and emphasized the importance of holding the XI plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic Speaking States (TurkPA). Speaker Sentop also confirmed his participation in this event.
