Kyrgyz ambassador and director of SCO RATS discuss topical issues of regional security

Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan Musa Zhamanbaev met with Director of the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure (RATS) of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Ruslan Mirzaev, the press service of the diplomatic mission of the Kyrgyz Republic in Tashkent reported. During the conversation, a thorough exchange of views took place on topical international issues and the situation in the region, as well as measures to improve interaction between the SCO member states in solving the problems of the region. Zhamanbaev expressed his full readiness to actively contribute to strengthening the potential and authority of the Executive Committee of the RATS SCO. Cooperation within the framework of the SCO is one of the priority areas of multilateral diplomacy of the Kyrgyz Republic and meets the national interests of the country. RATS is a permanent body of the SCO headquartered in Tashkent, designed to promote coordination and interaction between the competent authorities of the parties in the fight against terrorism, extremism and separatism, established in June 2002.
