Kyrgyzstan and France discuss organization of high level mutual visits

At the initiative of the Kyrgyz side, Ruslan Bekbolotov, Director of the Third Political Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, met with Francois Delaus, Ambassador of France to the Kyrgyz Republic. The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic said that during the meeting, the sides discussed in detail the issues of the current agenda of bilateral cooperation. Particular attention was paid to the issue of holding a number of joint events, in particular, within the framework of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. In addition, it was agreed to continue active steps to develop a bilateral political dialogue by organizing visits at the highest and high levels in 2022, as well as the next round of inter-MFA consultations. The sides also noted the significant role of inter-parliamentary cooperation in the development of bilateral cooperation. An agreement was reached to intensify work in the economic direction in order to create conditions for positive trends in bilateral trade. In particular, they agreed to carry out further work on holding a joint business forum in 2022, as well as cooperation in the field of energy, ecology, education and culture. The Kyrgyz side also noted the importance of expanding the legal framework between Kyrgyzstan and France, in connection with which, a request was made to expedite the consideration of a number of documents on cooperation. At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed their common intention to continue constructive cooperation on all issues of mutual interest.
