FMs of Kyrgyzstan and Iran exchange congratulations on 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations

Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev and the Islamic Republic of Iran Amir Hossein Abdollahian exchanged congratulatory messages on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries. In his congratulatory message Jeenbek Kulubaev said that the Kyrgyz Republic and the Islamic Republic of Iran are an example of friendly mutually beneficial cooperation based on deep historical friendship, common moral and cultural values ​​of the two peoples. “It is gratifying to note that over the past years, as a result of the active efforts of the parties, political contacts have been established at the highest and high levels, effective trade and economic cooperation has been established within the framework of the Kyrgyz-Iranian intergovernmental commission, and interregional ties are being strengthened,” Kulubaev said in his congratulation. From his part, Amir Hossein Abdollahian said that fortunately, the two countries, relying on many historical, cultural, religious and civilizational communities, as well as the principles of good neighborliness, have maintained sincere friendly relations for 30 years. “Diplomatic officials and departments of the two countries played a significant, outstanding role not only in the field of protecting immunity and security, but also in the development of mutual ties and relations. I am sure that this important mission will also be in the focus of our attention in the coming years, and the foreign ministries of the two countries will make every effort to use the opportunities to achieve the important goals outlined by the leaders of the two countries,” the Iranian foreign minister said in his congratulatory message.
