Chairman of National Bank joins meeting of IMF and WB Governors in Washington

Chairman of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan Kubanychbek Bokontaev, who is advisor of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) from Kyrgyzstan, attended the 2022 Spring Meeting of IMF and the World Bank in Washington (USA). Within the framework of the Spring Meeting, the head of the Kyrgyz National Bank held a number of meetings, including with IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, Deputy Managing Director Bo Li, as well as with Chairman of the Swiss National Bank Thomas Jordan, the press service of the Bank said. During the meetings, topical issues of further cooperation and interaction of the Kyrgyz Republic with international partners, including the IMF and the Swiss National Bank were discussed.
