Kyrgyzstan approves concept of creative economy development

Bishkek, April 25, 2022. / Kabar /. The Concept of Development of Creative Economy in the Kyrgyz Republic for 2022-2026 has been approved. The relevant decision was signed by Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov, the press service of the Cabinet said. The Concept of Creative Economy Development is developed in order to create favorable conditions for the development of creative economy, the implementation of the National Development Strategy of Kyrgyzstan for 2018-2040. The purpose of the Creative Economy Concept is to increase the contribution of the creative industries in the national economy through the formation of a comprehensive public policy. "Through the monetization of innovative ideas and developments capable of scaling up in industrial volumes, the creative industries sector in the country will become a gas pedal of entrepreneurial activity with high added value and high economic impact, rationalize capital investment, expand export opportunities and provide employment growth," report said.
