Russia to provide assistance to Kyrgyzstan in form of flour and butter

Bishkek, April 22, 2022 / Kabar /. Bishkek will host a handing over ceremony of Russian food aid in the form of 135 tons of fortified wheat flour and more than 60 tons of fortified sunflower oil. According to the Russian Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic, the food is intended for targeted distribution among needy families. A similar action took place on April 20 in Osh, where 675 tons of flour and 60 tons of oil were handed over. This project is being implemented as part of the voluntary targeted contribution of the Russian Federation in the amount of USD 9 million to the UN World Food Program Fund for 2020-2021.
