Iraq, Egypt Stress The Need To Activate The MoU On Political Consultations Signed Between The Two Countries In 2009

Baghdad / NINA / - Iraq and Egypt stressed the need to activate the memorandum of understanding on political consultations signed between the two countries in 2009. A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated: "The Undersecretary for Political Planning Affairs, Salih Hussein Al-Tamimi, met the Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab Affairs, Alaa Moussa, in the building of the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, in the presence of Ahmed Nayef Rashid Al-Dulaimi, Iraq's ambassador in Cairo, Iraqi's permanent representative to the League of Arab States, and they discussed ways to enhance the development of bilateral relations between the two countries, developments in the region, topics of common interest, and the necessity of exchanging visits between officials of the two countries.
